I Selvatici Episode #1: The Chapel
The new year seems to be flying by, with us now entering February and its typical list of chores around the vineyards and the winery. The vines have had their hard pruning, and await the warm rains of the spring to begin forming our 2021 vintage. But, while we would typically be tidying things up around our tasting room in a normal year in preparation for visitors, the global travel restrictions most likely mean our stream of arrivals will again be small during the spring and summer.
Happy New Year to everyone!
All of us at I Selvatici wish you a wonderful festive season and send you our best wishes for a healthy and prosperous 2021!
Happy holidays from Giuseppe and family!
With Thanksgiving now behind us, it is now a question of planning the upcoming December festivities, even in these difficult times.
Happy Thanksgiving from Tuscany!
After an extremely busy autumn here at the winery, we now are settling into a bit of a ‘riposo’, or resting time. The vines have lost their brilliant leaves to the cooler weather, the wine is beginning to work its magic in the cellar, and the olive trees are breathing a sigh of relief after a huge oil production year. It is a period where we all are able to relax and enjoy special moments at home, even in these challenging times of COVID.
Treasures from Tuscany for the holidays!
The last few weeks have been quite busy for us at i Selvatici, who have been working between storms to complete the 2020 harvest. And according to most predictions, it looks like it will be a very special year. Although we lost some of our typical quantity, the quality more than made up for it!
Our special discounts for those who want to support us during the Covid19 emergency
