Wine description
This wine is the top of our production, made only with grapes selected from our eight clones of Tuscan Sangiovese, vinified with extreme care. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature (21-23°) for about 18/20 days. At the end of this process, only the free-run juice is transferred to stainless steel tanks two or three times over a period of two years. Once this refinement process is complete, the wine begins its ageing in 225-litre American and French oak barrels for 24 months before bottling. After spending 8 months in the bottle, Cardisco is ready for our customers.
